The River Tâf
The River Tâf rises on the eastern side of the Preseli Hills above the village of Crymych and runs for 35 miles to the estuary at Laugharne ( The home of Dylan Thomas from 1949 – 1953)

Fishing On The River
Generally the Tâf is a small but noted river in West Wales which has good runs of seatrout and salmon as well as a healthy population of brown trout. Worming, spinning and fly fishing are all permitted on the river. The season runs from 1st April to 7th October.
Exploring The River
In spring & summer the river Tâf is quite peaceful with sandy banks for paddling & deep pools for swimming.
Children should not explore the river unaccompanied by their parents or guardians.
