What Brings Groups to Gwarmacwydd
Gwarmacwydd works for groups in a way that few places can. Five cottages arranged like a small village within the estate grounds — each self-contained, each with its own kitchen, sitting room and front door, but all within easy walking distance of each other. Families can spend the days together on the farm and the riverbanks, then retreat to their own space in the evenings. No hotel corridors, no shared facilities, no compromise.
The farm itself gives a group of any size something to do together from the moment they arrive. Morning animal feeding, tractor sessions, river walks, the woodland — activities that don’t need organising or booking in advance, just walking out of the cottage door.
“We booked all 5 cottages to accommodate different branches of the family. A lovely place for Ray (5½) and Starley (3) to enjoy their first farm holiday, delighting in the opportunity to feed the animals in the mornings — thank you Angela — and running between the different cottages. We all really enjoyed ourselves both on the farm and in this lovely part of Wales.”
